Just added to WGC looks ok! might get it just for the lower frame, but the guarder one might be a better bet

I think the non-serialed Prime kit will be the best bet.

I think the serialised Prime will be the BEST, the rest, we'll need to see, but this is very competitvely priced, which means it's not that good OR a bargain...

Cheers.

by Heavyweight alloy do they mean WA's "HW" plastic ######, or actual 100% metal derivative alloy?

Airsoft Extreme is doing these for $145 and $120 for a polished model.

Seth, I've handled one of these and yes, it is metal. Nicely done. Kind of curious how it installs, though. All too often these metal pistol pieces require more finishing than a Faberge egg.

Snowman, why do you think the serialized Prime kit will be the best? A serial number and the anchor marking sort of cancel each other out as far as benefits. The serial is kind of "huh, cool," whereas the anchor marks it as the gun world equivalent of a Franklin Mint Collectors Plate. This was a special model, like those garish gold-plated .45s with machine engraved images of Iwo Jima or Omaha Beach; "serially numbered, a treasure that will last a lifetime, honoring the legacy of America's fallen warriors." They advertise these things in every American Rifleman. The serialized, specially marked frame is just an airsoft take-off of the same concept. Turn everything into a collectible.

Is it not true that the Serialised Primes are milled from solid billet Alloy?

That'll be stronger than cast metal, whatever you choose to do with it wink.gif

Cheers.

Well if Creation bring out a frame for the 226 to match the slide i'll be getting that, the slide cost me £60 and it is a work of art and is the first metal slide i have had that has required zero work to make it fit properly and its machined too as opposed to cast. Not too fussed on the finish being 110% im just looking forward to when its had a year or two's use and looks all worn and real steel smile.gif

Any idea if the WGC frame/slide is CNC machined (like SD kit) or cast (like cheapo HK Glock metal slide)?

Same question for Prime's new cheaper P226 kit: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...topic=30079&hl=

and Guarder's kit: http://www.intrudershop.com/show_product_e...p?idproduct=716

Thanks

I got this kit today. It's a very low quality metal kit. There are VERY visible cast lines. And a couple of very visble cast dots (for lack of better words/knowledge). I'd only buy this kit if you are very low on cash, or want it for some project or soemthing. If not, Spend the cash! Buy a Prime/PGC!

Well, on second thoughts it isn't THAT bad, it's like having a KJW p226, except without the KJW reliablibity issues etc.

So basically, it'll work. I'll go ahead and tell my friends.

Yeah, it'll work. It's what you should expect for $120. It's like buying it for the metal and nothing more.

I just sent it off to my guy to fit it all. When I get it back, I'll post pictures. I'll tell you now, the finish is not great either. Kinda hard to explain, but I've seen plenty better.

So it's the porous and uneven finished metal on KJW M9s and not like the better finish on KJW Glocks?
