A full wood & metal upgrade for around $180, can't be bad. Combined with this UTG AK coming out, lot's more springing up at the fields I guess?

I had a really bad experience with the Classic Army metal receiver I bought last week : it was twisted and the mag couldn't even fit in...
Please let us know if this G&P receiver is good when you get it wink.gif

It is possible, just buy both kits G&P offer, I'm sure UTG are doing this AK for around $120 (I guess), AK's for all (with funds?). It's some sort of insurgency, I reckon. About time.

Just buy a new one, I'm sure you haven't spent all the money you've just bought in for yourself already?

DTP body was around $100.

The CA body & the HK no-make body are this price however:

They don't have the rivit things on the sides that look cool.

They don't have the stock bracket as part of the design (which i need as i get alot of flex in my AKM)

I don't think they had that nice finish either.

Plus I don't think this one will have the issues those two had with quality & fitting

It probably fits real well with the G&P wood kit too.

So for people wanting full metal/wood Ak47s, this is a good week for them.

The DTP AK bodies were originally selling at $150-ish when it was first released ..then dropped to $100. .then before G&G released their Magnesium body and about the same time CA released theirs. .DTP body dropped to $55 USD at most HK shops (but not DEN. .go figure). US shops were still selling it at $100+ despite the HK price drop.
