The new system they are seeming to be promoting looks like its gonna be called Magna Tech, and the first release seems to be a Colt Government. Other things include the inevitable release of the silver TLE/RL II aswell as a two tone one, plus some ajax grips for 1911's and Beretta M1934.

You astound me. I was expecting them to release a Taurus Raging Bull and a CZ75.

How earth shattering is the new Magna Tech system going to be? How good is the current system? mellow.gif

I would also like to know what's new about this system... The SCW2s are already a nice improvement from the old Magnas but I don't get what they're improving now.

Of course they sell well! It's all they make! A Ruger P85 might sell well, but we'll never know.

I find it interesting that WA has now adopted "Marui" policy in some aspect: they are releasing few Kimber clones with fake, "Kimber" lookalike trademarks, without actually having a Kimber license. That´s something they haven´t done for a while (I recall their earlier S&W Sigmas were "unofficial" replicas, without trades). Not sure wheter this is a good or bad thing in long run, but apparently they wanted to fill the sudden "Kimber" void in the airsoft market. For some odd reason lots of airsofters, even in this forum, find some magic in that "K" brand, even though those guns are still rather generic 1911 derivatives.

I doubt we´ll see any S&W guns from WA in the near future. Their pattern with S&W license seems to be Sigma-Shorty-signout-Sigma-Shorty-signout. In 3-4 year interval. Too bad. While other, completely new designs would be nice, I also doubt that they´d go through all the trouble of machining entirely new molds and such.
Continuously looking for broken (as long as the sound board works) Master Replicas Force FX lightsabers. Also interested in Parks or Larbel hilts.
PM me if you have one for sale!

Mmmmmm - maybe we could persuade them (or maybe SIIS?) to talk to Maruzen nicely - They've got some lovely 4505/4506 NBB moulds which wouldn't need much work to convert to SCW biggrin.gif

But your logic is flawed. If no-one wanted them, they couldn't sell them and they would go out of business, supply doesn't drive demand...

Still, I'd love to see something REALLY new from WA.

Cheers.

Let's see: if the P85 did sell well, I'd get my airsoft P85 at last. If it doesn't, I still get my P85, but it becomes a collectors item when WA go out of business. No, I think my logic works. biggrin.gif
