Looks like the Para is out, AEX has it listed as in stock on their front page. Higher price than the regular 249 though at $1010 huh.gif

Its probably more expensive because the railed feed cover and retractable stock cost more to machine than the regular para's plain jane feed cover and plastic stock.

Man, I just got back from AEX and let me just say holding the para was a very financially irresponsible move on my part. Still, I think I'll wait and see what the Star version has to offer before I go and shell out a grand on a BB hose.

Could get one of these and put a metal STAR SUSAT on it (if they're up to scratch)... Hmm...

It is a beautiful weapon but I think you have to have the right build for it. Hefting it all over the field can take all the fun out of a game.

i have a quick question about machine guns. I've never used one because none of my friends have one and I don't go to many big fields, just cqb. Are machine guns' rof a lot higher then on rifles such as m4s, aks etc. or are they just collection pieces to show how rich you are?

Hey Orca. I'm glad to hear the holster is still in service smile.gif

I take it the Para doesnt come with the "easy assebly RAS" or whatever the posters say...

muiman: They do have a very high rate of fire, but a normal AEG can be made to have an insane rof too. There are some that buy them for fullfilling the Machinegunner role, and others who just have cash to burn. =) I will be getting one because the group that I skirmish with needs another machinegunner and only SAWs/M60s can be in that role.

ok yeah thanks. I know that the vulcan has a crazy rof, but I've never seen a machine gun in action. Just seem too big to use.
