RIS and SOC16 you mean? They just looks like kits/accessories to me:

If only they'd do a reasonable version of the Star kit.

The ACOG looks more appealing to me. I wonder when it will be released... Hopefully with zoom and reticule, like an updated version of the G&P ACOG smile.gif

Not to say that the wood versions don't look good, I just can't believe they (G&G) haven't taken Marui's success with the OD Fiber version into consideration, not to mentino the OD version is by far the sexiest color for the M14. I'm really hoping someone comes out with the DMR soon

Same here with the DMR, also wasn't STAR making a Full-Out RIS M14? Where is that. I rather have that then the L85A2. Even though they are both good rifles.

You're thinking of the STAR/GUARDER collaboration for the troy sopmod. That rifle is already out and there are reviews hosted on this very site if you're interested in searching for them.

Not to familiar with the century series? It was designed for the civilian market, the barrel is the minimum legal length required in the US I believe, aswell as aiming to improve on the AKS-74U, where the short barrel/handguard combo caused it to overheat rapidly. Guarder recently made a kit (although with the folding stock), whether the G&G does so is another matter.

one of these with a skeleton stock would be teh sexeh, in my opinion. full stocks are all well and good, but I like to be able to use my AKs for golf if necessary smile.gif
