Ummm, I think there was something on Arnies news page about that. Allegedly, it's gonna be available before christmas.

Don't hold your breath though. ;)

I played with the new CA G36C at the local airsoft store. It felt solid and had no wobble or creaks that I could discern. The price was only slightly higher than the TM version. It had its own proprietary trademarks, no reference to HK. (I hated getting my TMG36C only to find grind marks on the gun and spray paint on the box). The stock opened smoothly and felt pretty solid. I did not shoot it so I can't comment on performance but the store owner said that CA has improved the internals and that this one is very good, and that there are accessories (of course) that will be available to upgrade the gun. Unknown if TM/TM intended parts will interchange but I was told that the CA was built to very close tolerances and real steel parts should interchange with less problems than with the TM.

I may buy one next week and I'll post if I do.

considering that they sell all the parts to make it an KE and K version, I doubt they will make those versions ready made as that would leave out some possible extra income on selling those parts to people who wants those versions.

As for the AK, well they where planning on an SA80 aswell.. and I guess we'll see the m249 minimi before the Ak, and I doubt they will dish up any SA80 in any foreseeable future.

The gun is made by CA without trades, so I doubt you can get them in any country.

Its the first type 3 atempt from CA, the second will be the AK.

Hehe, let's not forget that Eltee is a cop. ;)  And unlike WA's license with Berretta, ICS with Olympics, or CA with Armalite, the HK trademarks on the TM guns are not ... er... legal.  :P

I've heard a rumour that the L85 by CA will be released late 2005, can anyone confirm?
