I have done 15 skirmishes in the last 12 months.
I am not UKARA registered, nor do I have any intention of becoming so.

As usual we get shafted up the arse with the price of them though, in the US you can buy them for about £50-60, over here £110!
You'd be aswell spending an extra few quid and just getting a TM one in my opinion.

Don't forget that the UTG comes with Battery, Charger, Sling, 2 hi-caps, included in the price whereas with a Mauri or better known brand you have to buy all the essentials extra which costs even more
To be honest I think 110 quid for a decent quality AEG is fantastic, although I don't like the way it costs more in pounds to buy a UTG here than it does in dollars in America

precisely why i have ordered it except that i probably wont be using it alot its more for friends who want to go airsofting without the cost of hiring. this gun would probably make good hire gun for urban sites if the neccesary upgrades were done to to it like rewiring.
It is a shame that we have to pay so much but still works out to be a bargain!
edit: when your talking about all the extras you get with it its a decent £100 saving or so.

I don't really know if importing is worth it though, because sure you may save yourself 40 quid on the gun but once you take the shipping costs (AA would give free shipping with the UTG gun), tax, customs, etc...It all gets pretty pricey.

Mmm, not to mention the advantage of having the gun's warranty honoured on these shores. Should make any problems with the gun much quicker to sort.

You are correct, the feed system in the UTG uses a spring rod to push the bbs up. In the Maruzen there is an extractor that pulls bbs out one at a time.
