They are planning on the AK, then the MP 5 series. I don't put much faith in them though. Not untill they have been out for a few years at least.

I just emailed stti about when they're releasing the ak's and I also asked them what type of ak's they're making, if the aks74u is one of them I would go berserk

Just got an email from stti, they said that the ak series aeg's will be released
on january 2006.

I can wait another month. Hopefully it'll be something different besides the regual AK-47, and AK-47S.

Oddly coinciding with the release of the UTG AK also, makes you wonder who makes them for these companies, doesn't it?
I am already on the list for the UTG from our supplier, so when it comes in I will compare it to my CA and TM AKs to see what kind of quality we are talking about, since we already carry the UTG MP5 I am fairly confident in their ability to make a good beginner gun that the player can grow with and upgrade.

Frankly, the idea of being able to afford a mauri-compatible body before the VCR bill comes in is enough to justify this.

....only the AK-47 and AKS-74U exist. the other are made up. either that or incorreclty disgnated. the Krinkov and the AKS-74U are essentially the same. theres no such thing as an 'AK RPK' or an AK-47 type U.
