Wonder if it'll be as good, yet as cheap, as their famous M82? Zing!

I suspect there's quite a bit of truth in this statement. I was thrilled when I saw the title of the thread, but once I followed the link, it was all "Ohh noes!" VFC makes some seriously pricey toys. Something about this simple little gun that requires that every one be teeth grittingly expensive.

Now that it's confirmed that mine won't be coming in, I've been in the market for it, but I really don't see this piece coming in for less than $800.

I wasn't being literal, as I suspect Spoon was not, but let there be no doubt, this piece will likely cost far more than a normal AEG.

You have no idea what you are talking about do you. let me correct you pal. (i have one) semi autos are only about (with transfew tax) 2100. full autos at around 13000. you are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off.

No, no im not.

Semi autos (non-conversions) are worth alot more. Why? Because there were only a handful of semi-auto's that were true russian made imported.

Now if your talking about a converted one (i.e. an AK-74 with an AKS-74U parts kit) those are around 1700 to 2500 depending on how good the conversion is.

Full autos...

Once again, real vs. converted.

A converted is nothing more then an AK-74 with a AKS-74U parts kit on it. So, nothing real special.

a Real AKS-74U full auto varient is extremely expensive.. and extremely rare. The one's ive seen a local gun show, and online - were well over the 50k range. Gun show one was 57, online was 62k

Again with the full steel. I'm guessing it will cost around the same as the Guarder kit, only it comes with a sight plate, as denoted by the N, which will be their bargaining chip wtih Guarder. Also, they say it's an AEG, rather than a kit.

dude my dad has a krinkov (no stock) sitting on a wall. i think i know what i am talking about. No maybe MAYBE if it was like a rare Iraq or veitnam bringback. but there is no freaking way an AK will reach 60K. matter of fact true Klashnikovs only bring 20K in unfired condition. and Chinese Unfireds bring more around the 15K mark. used ones. and who isn't ghoing to use a class three bring anywhere from the 13K- the 17K mark.

But he's referring to a distinctive collectors piece of far more rarity than a basic AK. What I've seen has been closer to $25K for a Krinkov, but they are extremely rare. And just because your father has a wallhanger doesn't mean you personally know about the current state of the Soviet collectible weapons market. My father owns a fire bell from the Queen Mary, but that doesn't make me a sailor. Think about what you just said in terms of the guns. Vietnam bringback? For a Krinkov? Maybe it'd be sprinkled with pixie dust too.

THIS JUST IN: NOBODY CARES. My dad has a Mercedes, that doesn't make me a certified Mercedes-ologist.

And you wonder why your PM box fills up every time you make a post about real weapons. rolleyes.gif

FYI...I just read an article about these (the real steel ones)...
Did you guys know that "Krinkov" is a made up name for these?...the Soviets certainly never called them that...LOL

I find it ironic that you guys are throwing the term around while arguing about it...makes the whole argument sound foolish

The term Krinkov has been around for a bit, but it certainly seems to have spread in airsoft since AEX introduced a custom a few years ago called a Krinkov, but based on a mix of TM AK47 and Beta Spets parts.

Do more research, maybe 2 but no more! dry.gif Just because in Iraq you can buy a chinese or romanian copy for around 50 quid does not undermine the quality and price of Russian models.
