I wonder if it will include the cocking lever blowback, and a solid gold case?

at that price, it should.

god, I love that gun, but I cannot justify giving Star that much money for something wiith a plastic gear box.

I'm sure its perfectly fine, but I'm closed-minded and bigoted when it comes to gearboxes made out of anything other than metal.

I think I'll be getting one as a YAGE before the VCR bill. I have a soft spot for LSWs...

I hope it has the blowback, as that looks reall, really cool. I doubt STAR are that generous though...

TBH, the star susat is really nice, just not practical for airsoft.

fair point about it not being included though, I agree, is a royal ripoff

definately, and when I have a spare thousand dollars burning a hole in my pocket and I already own every other airsoft gun that I've ever wanted, then I might consider it.

It'll be sold out by then though, so why worry?

I'd rather have the 249 for that much but honestly, is there any point to the rear vertical grip? seems rather pointless for a gun like this unless its to steady your hand in which case... wierd and awkward...

It's only for use when prone. RPK's have something like that designed into the stock. It's a little weird, but not at all awkward.

Armalite for sale.

Im in two minds about this. if it works thats great. If it doesnt then its a nice paperweight.

Theres something strangely fun about having to unclip the bipod everytime you go prone.

So let me get the straight. Add a cheap vertical grip, change the foregrip and a longer barrel and a bipod and ratchet the price up $200. At first it sounded crummy, but on further review I only wish Guarder used a similar pricing strategy.

For a support weapon, that's really not bad.

they're the same, version 1

the star l85 gearbox is called a 'version 2' because its the second version of the plastic gearbox, the star m249 has the 'version 1'.

the 'version 2' plastic gearbox looks like a version 1 metal gearbox, but it can take a normal flat motor, such as a tm eg1000.
