No, it's an MC51 sized gun with a RAS and a fixed stock. Shorter than the A3/A4.

Well, none of those AK accessories are exactly different from what's out at the moment, although the 74 style furniture is nice for people with TM AK's I suppose.

Must have one of the AUG's though, even if I have to smuggle it from France in a giant gateau.

Any news on that AUG? I want one, but would rather go CA than TM.

I don't suppose anyone knows whereabouts to get the AK furniture? I've searched all the usual haunts but came up empty...

I think you'll see the AUG before the SAR. My CA dealer has pricing for the AUGs already but the SAR is only listed as being there, no price yet. Same goes for the CA53, which I am looking forward to a lot more than the SAR. smile.gif

Meh. The M41 looks neat, should be decent -- but why not a full line?

All the designs are, as usual, eerily similar to the old Marui ones -- good for CA, but in cases like the AUG, are S-M trades, included M100, and stiffer fibre receiver worth that much?

There are indications that CA will be making a full line of G3 AEGs.

Well, if one were looking for a Military Aug, they could either pay $300-350 for a used TM in decent condition, or buy a brand new one with better metal parts for around the same price. So yes, I would say it's "worth that much".

it is really hard to get ahold of a military aug these days (not that I like them) as well as the problems that crop up with the tm aug, yeah the price is worth it.

If I can get a more solid gun, with better internals (7mm reinforced gearbox with the m100, metal berrings, better gears) and better externals (steel catch, better plastics, better feel) for only a few bux more (280 TM vs the 330 CA) i think it more than worth it.

Besides I have now seen two broken augs that came from shipping, one brand new, and the charging handle was busted right off...

I'll be slapping MSG90 bits on it anyways, so I don't really care what variant they put out. As long as it has a front sight I can bastardise I'm happy wink.gif

not to mention keeping your fingers crossed that the included and attached 1.5x scope is worth its weight in bbs.

Id love to own one should they prove decent.

The one that I had a look at had beautiful optics. Very clear and effectively useable unlike the TM optics. You can tell they took some time putting this gun together. They even reinforced the fore grip with more metal and it didn't feel flimsy as all like the TM version.
