A new Airsoft movie has been born as the film “CODENAME: Thunder II Airsoft Movie” has been edited into six “webisodes” which are available for download free, online. The "CODENAME:Thunder II Airsoft Movie" originally filmed by Summit Lake Entertainment for a DVD release, has morphed into a new concept that will enhance the final cut and make it easier to experience for a wider audience.

The movie continues to follow the storyline of the U.S. incursion into Colombia to take down drug lord Hector Chiro. The six episodes are chockfull of Airsoft action and drama as we learn more about the ruthless drug-lord Hector Chiro and his Cartel, the status of the Senators daughter held hostage by Chiro and his goons, and the mysterious CIA spook Agent Cash.

As in the original, a few actors and actresses in main character roles help players realize the possibilities of the plot, and will help or hinder them along the way. Look at it as a “Reali-Drama” that centers on an Airsoft operation, an exciting Airsoft event unlike any other in the world.

The six “Webisodes” will be released a few weeks apart and, get this, will be available FREE online at the CodenameThunder.Comwebsite or Summit Lake Films Website.

A teaser is now available that will bring you up to speed, and let you see what the buzz is about.

As episodes are released, they will build in excitement as the story unfolded at the event. When the six webisodes are completed, a full length DVD will be made available and will include new footage, shenanigans at the event, behind the scenes featurettes, bloopers, a sneak peek at the upcoming Thunder III and more.

Check it out and enjoy!

no WAY its like paintball... i didn't see any bright red blue or yellow ANYWHERE!

IMO the full face masks wont really effect the outcome of the film.

This was filmed during an airsoft event, so safety was a concern. The insurance for the event required a modified mask that covered the mouth and nose, but allowed for the cheek area to be removed so sighting could be unrestricted, however most of the participants used a full PB-style mask.

Some of the main characters (The Senators Daughter) were allowed to use only goggs for filming purposes.

Thanks for watching and check out the webisodes coming soon!
