Ive fitted the MRE to one of my CA M15 carbines. Its OK, does the job. Except for one really annoying thing. The rail on the MRE RAS is lower than the top rail on the CA receiver, by quite a noticable amount. Now, on the real-deal, they are supposed to be at the same height....

The above post is purely my point of view, and may not represent any organisation I am associated with...

I will be away from the 14/09/09 to the 16/09/09. If I do not reply to PM's about sales items I've not done a bunk - it's just that I will have absolutely NO internet connection for those three days.

you cant really fault king arms with misalignment of the rails. it's CA's problem...their receiver rail is too high compared to the other brands out there.

Yep, that's entirely CA's bad (which is why my M15 is getting a differnet body soon, I want to use a Troy MRF which goes all the way up to the body).

Edit: Here's a photo of my realsteel Troy MRF (sort of) fitted to my M15 which illustrates this flaw. This is one of two problems that prevent properly mounting the MRF or similar rail system to the M15 body (the other being the width of the body which can be worked around).
