That video amazes me because I can't put myself in their shoes. I was that age once (how old are they? 11-12?), but I'll be damned if I can get in that frame of mind again. Isn't puberty magical? :P When I was 12, I was probably just as much of a little turd. I remember shooting greenhouses with my air rifle... Now I um and ah over what to have for lunch. And say things like "I'd better get to bed early, big day tomorrow"

Some kids having fun, harming no one. Um... am I missing something? This, kids, is why I hate when people post a video without saying what it is, or why they're posting it.

:zorro:

You seriously don't see the problem. Ok here ya go

One, lets start with their choice of where to play. Right in their front yard on their drive way, the one little kid doesn't even have the orange tip on his gun. This is exactly how kids get shot.

Two, those kids are maybe like 10, I guess. Yet they curse and all that. Maybe I was sheltered but I didn't know all that stuff till I grew up a little bit.

Three, the kid got shot in the mouth.

Four, where are the parents in all this.

Five, you said they aren't harming anyone, and they are wearing eye protection. Watch the guy that runs across to pick up the cat. I see no goggles.

Sledge the last two video posts I've posted you have come in to say nothing but ridicule. If you don't like the post that's fine but you don't need to put the video, and me, down. Just move on.

Get bent. You post *beep*, you get flamed. No one else found any point to this either, why not have a pop at them?

:zorro:

No one else was saying anything against him. Ghost Rider asked what the point was, but didn't say that he hated him.

Like I said. I don't mind if they don't like it, but you decided to get personal and make a comment about me.

I just gave you 5 reasons why this video is one which is causing the banning of airsoft, because this is how the public sees airsoft. Little kids with realistic looking guns, pellets moving rapidly, and no adult supervision.

Once again:

When did I say ANYTHING personal about you? I said the video was pointless.

:zorro:

:zorro:

You weren't saying it to him by name, but it was clearly implied.

I don't do subtelty or implication online. Those things require facial expression and tone of voice to work. What I said is what I said. It means that and nothing more. Anything anyone chooses to read into something I've said, other than the exact words, is their problem, and reflects their own personality. If you can get "I hate Sora000" from "This, kids, is why I hate when people post a video without saying what it is, or why they're posting it" I can only assume that the English language is used differently in America.

Their driveway looks to be in the middle of nowhere. I see no houses to either side.

Two, those kids are maybe like 10, I guess.  Yet they curse and all that.  Maybe I was sheltered but I didn't know all that stuff till I grew up a little bit.

Oh dear they used naughty words.

Three, the kid got shot in the mouth.

I get shot in the face all the time - never harmed me. I used to play games like this without eye-pro, for gods sake.

Four, where are the parents in all this.

Probably inside - or possibly behind the camera. Are you suggesting kids need to be supervised every minute of every day?

Five, you said they aren't harming anyone, and they are wearing eye protection.  Watch the guy that runs across to pick up the cat.  I see no goggles.

And he's in the line of fire for all of what? five seconds?

The video wasn't funny, and I fail to see why you posted it here for us to view. I'm assuming you figrued we'd share your view and join you in lampoooning or riducling it.

The frase "This, kid is why..." is used to insult, plain and simple. I would have no problem if you said "can you post more description of the video so we know what this is before wwe watch it." But you don't need to use my actions as a reason for your hate. Simply tell me what you don't like what I did, but you don't need to insult and then say it

'Hate' is such a strong word...

Yes, it is, apparently in my school(my new school is a lot better about this, but my old school was full of idiots). Sorry for the misunderstanding.

And its those actions that help to ban airsoft. And yes I do believe 10 year old kids should be supervised when using airsoft guns, and it only takes a half second for one of the kids to press the trigger and the other to get shot in the eye.

Even though all the ones playing were using eye protection? The kid that ran accross, it was just a bit of "look guyz i r well tuff now" stuff which kids do, it's nothing majorly bad, and the other kids did stop shooting as he ran past.

Personally, I don't see what they're doing wrong, and I think they should carry on playing, and will most likely become good members of our sport. :)

I think you need to get a sense of perspective, dude.

It's a couple of kids messing around with toy guns.

It's the kind of kneejerk reaction you're exhibitng that fuels the culture of fear that gets airsoft banned, not a couple of kids having a backyard war in the middle of nowhere.

When things like this get into the media, it is used to make people think that airsoft is "bad", and that is what helps to get it banned.

EDIT: It is the fact that they look like guns. People go around beating people with baseball bats, but you don't see baseball getting banned(horrible analogy, but I think you get the point).

No, it's a couple of bloody kids. They're acting responsibly, THEY HAVE EYE PROTECTION ON. They're having fun, and it's a couple of bloody springers.

Ever wondered why they never showed the welts? Because they didn't have any, it's just trying to hype up the game for the camera, and to make it more fun.
