Just noticed....

I'd seen these things on ebay and in the USA but I've just seen a UK dealer selling them for the first time.

Might be fun to mess about with, build into a PEQ box, taclight, or something.

Reminds me of that Borg Implant.
I've always wanted a Laser strapped to the side of my head.
The thing looks like it could be epoxyed to a RIS Rail and stuck on a M4 or what ever.

Wow, that would be so kool. Especially in the middle of a huge firefight and seeing the faces of people trying to reload their rifles whilst bbs are hitting just above they're heads. Im getting one biggrin.gif

They're pretty slick. We've got a dude over here who uses one. It can be dizzying at times, especially when he whips his head around. Movie quality ain't that bad, but I believe he compresses them to save on space, so they don't look all that great.

Just to let you know there is a sunglass with a camera built in between the lenses and connects directly to a MP4 player to record. I think that would be pretty slick and can be worn over a mask. So you can record FPS style videos, but it was over $300.00...kinda ridiculous.

Does anybody have any full-scale video captures of what a 320x240 video clip looks like? Just as an example?

At that quality, does anybody know how long the video footage would be for various memory cards? -Admittedly, I'm a little out of touch with the current flash memory video tech'.

Thanks,
Ice. smile.gif

This might not look so good due to compression, but here's a movie from my friend's website, he is the one with the camera: http://milsim.joeysbox.com:85/~airsoftteam...%20Game%201.wmv

This would be very interesting for capturing clips to create a montage. I personaly would attach it to either a rail on a gun or a helmet. Untill my vid camera died i was trying to mount it to my M4 so i could create videos of the action at local games.

There's a link to the manufacturers site here but they don't tell you any more about there product however I found this site which lists the recording times for different cards at the bottom.

I can't imagine the quality to be too good but for skirmishing it might be o.k.

given the video example I think it would definitely be adequate for recording airsoft action. there's another $50 down the drain....

edit: plus $XX for a giant memory card so I can record lots

This looks like a set of incredibly bad ideas just waiting to happen.

I'll take four.
