Anyone have any information on this? I've done my research and some have said they never will, and some have said this Spring, but this Spring is almost over! If they dont have a kit this summer....i'm taking a hacksaw to my "un-openable" cylinder

As far as I am aware, no, there are no upgrades available.

However, a simple regreasing (read: Get the old shitty grease out and lube it up with Silicone spray) will give you about 350-370ish fps.

Yes, I can confirm this. We recieved samples of this drop in upgrade about 2 months ago. Basically it's the entire bolt assembly upgraded. I would assume the finished product should be available shortly however no ETA. I'll ask about it next time I talk to the guys at Leapers.

Apparently you can upgrade the DE M50/UTG M324, but only if you happen to possess an inordinate amount of time, determination, a power drill and a hacksaw.

Well, it's a drop in kit, you won't need to do anything..simply take ure bolt out like i have several times, and replace it. I can't wait, i hope the upgrade chronos at like 400+, ill definately pick one up as soon as it comes out, ill write a review on it too if anyone wants one.

I very much doubt it'll be available in the UK - The M324 chronoes at 330-350 OOTB anyhow, and the upgrade will probably up that to 400-500.

The drop in kit isn't out yet, so I was talking about how to upgrade it NOW.

Oh ok, well yea i figured.If they're coming out with a drop in kit, i might as well break this one open and put a PDI 120 or 140 spring in it..maybe a tightbore barrel, new hopup, i dunno, it might be my summer project. Any tips? lol

I have nothing to loose if i break open the cylinder if im just guna replace it in a few months anyway...

I wonder if the mod comes with reinforced sears and all. From what the guy from shorty said, it sounded like they're only replacing the bolt. If that's so, the power can't be increased THAT much, certianly not to 500.

UTG would make so much more money if they came out with upgrades..

So This UTG Sniper rifle really isn't as bad as everyone made it out to be?

I can't belive they're making a drop in kit for it..

Any evidence of this things existance? or is it like the fabeled Madbull c02 gearbox?

Edit: Pictures would be nice of this drop in unit. Prehaps we can determine something about its quallity from the outside?

I wish shorty took pictures, however they did confirm that it is coming out, they just dont know when. Also i have talked to other stores that have heard about it. So in my opinion, prolly this summer...i remember when shorty got the sample UTG Sniper, and then like 3 months later it came out for sale.

The problem is - UTG just resells Double Eagle and WELL stuff - so if DE/WELL don't make it, then UTG won't.

Then again, UTG must have some sort of influence on what DE/WELL produce, so you never know.

I also hear that it is possible, but not easy, to get a TM tightbore inner barrel to fit.

just one question, will the trigger assembly strong enough to handle the upgrade kit? we all know TM VSR series needs upgrade trigger sear for 400FPS, and does UTG have replacement for parts as well?
EDIT: UTG is a company base in US(own by a Taiwanese American), they tell DE, WELL to make guns for them, and those guns under UTG should have better QA and QC, and hopefully they can have replacement parts later

This should fit the Swiss Arms M6 as well then because the M6 is exactly the same as the UTG M324 just relabelled.

Bernies3674- I had the same question you did about the sears. However, the trigger system and the bolt are connected when you take the gun apart. I own the gun and ive taken it apart seveal times, my opinion is that they're going to replace the entire bolt assembly (trigger system included) ..............I sure hope so. lol

because many sites ,especially those in the ukasgb and this forum state the limit for spring guns to be 328 fps not the 500 fps which other sites use!
