Well the be g36k is released now. The only problem is it's full plastic externally and the gearbox is also plastic. I would say full plastic but it probably comes with a metal barrel.

Finish doesnt look that bad though im sure its alot worse in person. I might pick one up just to have a G36 in my collection.

Well, it's only $45, and the gun itself could be used as a loaner.
260fps sounds a bit optimistic, though

If that thing ever arrives here, I'm planning to mod a real red-dot sight into the handle (everything is possible with a hacksaw of the right size ) and chuck a Cyma metal gearbox inside. Tune up to 350-380 fps and here I have a decent woodland gun.
If the Cymas get sold out again before I lay my hands on them, I'm placing an order at Gunner's. Froot that, they call me McGyver for a reason.

That's why you should order it along with a Cyma AK gearbox - DIY order.
It even has regulated hop-up. Figure that out. Which doesn't change the fact it's still fugly.
In short: Germans and mad airsoft doctors have a new toy. The rest of the world may ignore it.

btw it seems to be nothing more than a BE XM8 in a new "outfit".

However..for many countries with a FPS limit (for legal gaming)l esp. Germany ;-)
..it´s a more or less attractive beginners weapon...and plastik gearboxes are suitable for a LP- AEG if they have enough power

No they won't - You'd need a G36 Specific Gearbox with a G36 specific Motorcase.

I don't have it but I’d trust what gunner says. He seems reliable. It's out of stock though.
