I think the "blue" is supposed to match the ACU pattern. So I guess you could call it foliage green

Or maybe its supposed to be like the simunition guns that are used for training. I really don't know.

The second pic seems to have a header "ARUI SOCOM COLOR FLAME MODEL". Hehe, "Flame"... biggrin.gif I suspect that the blur in the left edge just hides the missing M letter.

What, no lavender green, neon pink or powder blue?!?

The OD green one looks hot. If they're expensive when they get to europe, though, I'm just going to Krylon my Socom, but after seeing that picture I have to have a green Socom. biggrin.gif

I'm guessing that they're not for the TM as they appear to have a separate de-cocking lever. The de-cocker is cast onto the TM as they don't have the de-cock function. Just a WAG on my part though...

It does say Marui. On the advert you'll see a url in the bottom corner. Like this one. The full advert is on there right now.

Seems a very odd guess, given that the picture clearly mentions the Tokyo Marui SOCOM! huh.gif

These coloured frames are genuine H&K models replicated, so, if H&K have black decockers, I guess these will too, regardless of whether it's moulded in or not.

Cheers.

*cleans glasses, squints at pictures*
Hmm, you're right. So, is it a two colour casting, or do you get an extra (non functioning) lever?
*Gets both TM Mk23 out of cupboard to check*
Nope, definately cast to the frame, I even stripped the slide off to make sure.
How odd, anyway, I'm sure someone will be able to explain as soon as they get one.

The trades on the slide are white, if thats what you mean. They should be black, but thats nothing to do with the frame. Proves its a Marui, though, as the slide trades are the same. Prototype version, I believe. KSC Socoms have production model trades.

Edit: Now I look closer it looks to me like the bit where the fake decocker lever goes has the same texture as the grips. It should be smooth, but it might just be the pixels of the picture itself, as the picture isn't the best of qualities. Difficult to be 100% without a higher resolution picture.

I presume that the M249 pictured by them isn't Marui? *salivates at thought*

Why not just paint your own frame? It's not that hard - I just did my HFC M190 in under 15 minutes (excluding drying time).

I wish KSC would follow suit. Tan framed Mk23s are my favorite pistol to look at.

Maybe TM will make their LAM available for purchase. I need a LAM, really bad, I'll take anything.

Poo picture resolution it is, then. I stand corrected.

As you have the actual magazine, and can look a lot closer than I can, any chance you could get a magnifying glass and see whats on the right hand side of the frame where the ugly great Tokyo Marui trademark usually is??
