101matt1
I prefer sniping with a UTG M324 sniper rifle desert cammo.
El Ornitorrinco
Does sniping mean using a sniper rifle, or using a gun made for distance shots? Wood using an M16 or M14 for a long shot be sniping? So does this mean woodland vs. CQB, or are acutally asking if people like using sniper rifles vs. CQB weapons?
101matt1
THIS MEANS WOULD YOU PREFER TO SNIPE IN A TEAM AIRSOFT WAR OR BE A COMMANDO TYPE DUDE?
Terror_drone
CQB is a game.. sniping is a roll, how can you compare them?
xufima
i think you mean "do you prefer playing as a sniper or as a front line, middle of a firefight type person". if that was the question i really dont know which i'd choose, probably sniper as i like to remain unseen and make my shots really count but even then some people wouldnt consider that sniping. curlyboy
I have done both roles sniping with both a UTG and a CA M24 and i found sniping a bit boring but is a totally differant way to play the game but you usually have to find your targets which can be fun. But i did CQB at urban assault and it is such a rush because unlike sniping you dont know what is awaiting you from one room to the next. curlyboy
101matt1
OK, I mean would you like to be at the very front or would you like to hang back and snipe people on a large field?
El Ornitorrinco
It does mean role. That what his second post says. I'd go with sniper. That's why I have a Marui shotgun. Everyone knows that Marui shotguns are close range sniper rifles.
[ VX ]
I like to act as a sniper-esque guy at my woodland site. I got a stock M15, but I get good camo and position and pick people off. I clicked sniper. I like both though.
Terror_drone
do you prefere playing football or batting ..anyway I mainly play CQB, The only 'sniping' experience i've got is hiding and getting long range shots with my SG1 so i cant really comment about sniping
MistorPie
CQB all the way, i just love the intensity of close quaters and bb's whizzing past your head.
1cem4n
both, i have my SPR right now but when i feel like doing some CQB, i use my girlfriend's MP7. thinking about getting a M3 Benelli soon.
Scyxor
not many people will choose sniping, but why are you making these pointless threads all the time?
HeavensSniper
Alright, I am lost. Why are we even voting for this? -1. What is Arnies turning into? I got here about 2 weeks ago, I have to say... I am not impressed.
bernie3674
sniper means, you need a sniper rifle, prefer spring or gas, it has a high FPS rate, and as a sniper, your minium engage distance is more than an assult with AEG, you need a scope, you know how to zero your scope, you need a ghillie suit, a good sidearm, and again, a realiable sniper rifle, and prepare spend $600 if you wanna play sniper
El Ornitorrinco
sniper means, you need a sniper rifle <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How's that? Sniper: 1. A skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a concealed place. 2. One who shoots at other people from a concealed place. Hear anything about sniper rifles from the good ol' dictionray? Didn't think so. I could snipe you with my HFC Bullpup 230, believe it or not. ...thinking about getting a M3 Benelli soon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Get that Benelli. They're more fun than a barrel of monkeys times pi. I found that in a scientific article, too.
bernie3674
I am talking about airsoft, not on the battlefield, and airsoft sniper needs a lot of skill as well, like control your breathing, and ghillie suit concels you pretty good
El Ornitorrinco
I could snipe you with my HFC Bullpup 230 On that note, I snipe with my M3 Benelli on a weekly basis. I could also snipe you with an M14, which will have a bipod, scope, Tanio Koba barrel, ghillie wrap and I'll be in a ghillie suit. And yet it's not a sniper rifle. And yet I will be a sniper. Saying that it doesn't apply to airsofting is like saying that you can't do CQB in airsofting with an M16. Sure, the M4 will work better, but people do it, both in real life and in airsofting. phoenix360mute
if it were real life, a sniper, but as its more fun in airsoft CQB (mainly cus i dont really want an AEG )

Something about real life, a sniper rifle, CQB and AEGs. ...Sometimes I can put these puzzles together that are strewn all over the floor, but this one's missing half of its pieces. But since airsoft sniping is somewhat pointless, and that he really wants an AEG, he wants to do close range battles.
