Some one find me a way to use these in my VSR-10 Gspec. I'm thinking of a sort of muzzle loader.
I can see myself with a pouch of these and my cleaning rod.
Unscrew suppressor, place funky bb in muzzle, ram onto hop-up, replace suppressor, cock rifle, fire and hit target.
I'd even buy an upgrade to use these if it could be worked out.
The site I play at has a blanket ban for guns over 1j, so this would give snipers their advantage back.

For anyone that missed that, THIS is what he's on about.

Should be quite cool but, as you say, it would have to be muzzle-loaded and I doubt they will be that great...

That looks cool in concept.
You certainly wouldn't want one of the fins catching you on its way past though, likely to open your face up.

surley on a bolt action you could put these into the breech.
Also, would need to turn hop right off, and then get a TK rifled barrel

Cant imagine theyre as good as the old asahi m700 ammo though, dont look very well engineered

That'd be cool to test out.

For once or twice maybe. Bad things: 1)$30 for 500 ('bout 15£) 2)you'd have to get different mags for them and 3) you most likely cannot use them with hop-up.

Essentially, real-cap, low-cap, and maybe mid-cap users might rejoice. High-cap...probably not. If you turned off the highcap it might work. But just how are you going to get decent propulsion on it? You'd need a modified feeding chamber.

I'm good, thanks.

Well, I suppose this would be fine with a revolver.

Why .19 grams? That just seems stupid. They need to be heavier for any kind of accuracy, especially with the increased surface area. Wind will suck even more.

I'm curious as to how it's supposed to increase range. As far as I can see you're not supplying any extra energy to get this range, or if you are then it'll be over uk FPS limits. It'll have a similar range to a non-hopped gun. It might be a touch more accurate over that range, providing there is no wind (I would think it's more prone to drifting in the wind), but that's about it.

Can't see a use for it at UK power levels.

Wouldn't work in a Tanaka. Might in a KWC, or one of the Marushin 6mm guns.

Well its quoted for use at 400fps. That's probably where the range comes from...

And I guess the 'tails' will give it stability and possibly spin, which might also increase the range. Just like Nerf balls.

Looks cool, but also highly proprietary. Check out the way it's loaded w/ shell casings. Also, how much force are you gonna feel 300ft away with a .19? Can anyone say fly away when the wind hits it?

What if they clip something and start to tumble? I don't particularly feel like getting hit by those fins at 300 FPS.

These are nothing new. Look for the oldskool airsoft/airgun ammo. A pill shaped round with a tail fin on it. They were fired out of guns with ejecting brass (the magazines had a track for the ammo and a track for brass, and with every shot would eject a BB out the barrel and a shell out the action. They lost popularity and eventually weren't produced anymore due to cost.

The digicon Target is one of the only guns available that makes the Airfin bullets useful. Airfin loaded into shell, no hop up in the barrel, and FPS range is perfect for a sniper.

Or an Asahi M700/m40, but they are rather rare. And expensive.
