oh dear, the old KWA/KSC debate- hands a bit sore, so I won't type for long...
Ok, KSC produce fully trademarked guns, normally described as "japan versions" - owing to Japan's less strict rules on TMs, this makes sense. These are normally KSCs most expensive offerings
KSC also produce guns for export, these frequently lack the full trades of their japan counterparts, but are still marketed, at least in HK and japan, as being KSC.
KWA, I suspect, are KSCs export-for-sale models- retailers buy these in (frequently with metal slides and all that jazz, but often without trades blame the US for this, if you like), so as not to get too many customs-types upset- and sell them on to local consumers, for eg, me.
As far as QC is concerned, I honestly do not know if the Japanese versions receive more TLC than their taiwanese or KWA counterparts (they're all, I believe, made in the same factory by the same people), and frankly, given the performance of the KWA guns out of the box, I don't think its that important.
at least, thats what I think is going on...probably wrong
