Those must have been thought up by the anti-christ, they take one of the last good old fashioned riffles of wood and steel and let you bolt on a microwave for the mid-skirmish snack.

Because it adds more functions to a gun, and gives it more opportunity to be unique?

M14's are a nice and all, but it gets a little boring seeing all these m14s with occasinally a RDS or something.

Cheers.

can we just accept that some people like rails and others dont? personally, i think both the vanilla M14 and the SOCOM II look nice in their own way. if someone likes rails, that shouldnt make them any less of a person in anyone's eyes.

I like them both. But I think I like the EBR kit on the m14 better. But thats just me.... Something about the stock on the EBR makes me feel alittle weak in the wallet!!!!

And I like the SOCOM II because of the price. If my wallet hadn't already seen the damage of the EBR, the SOCOM II would have been one slick alternative.

It just doesn't look right when comparing it to the real cluster rail system.
