Approached by some drunken Germans talent spotters he soon found himself in a recording studio wearing a pair of leather shorts and muttering "why's it painful to sit down?" David's singing career was not as good as his driving and without a smart talking box of flashing lights and a turbo boost system which somehow managed to make the car jump 50ft in the air; David soon found that his records were only being sold in Germany and a few other countrys where no one could understand the words.
