its one piece CNC, meaning each one is made of a solid chunk of aluminum.

I guarantee its gonna be costly.

ohmy.gif

I didn't expect it to be THAT high.

Though I doubt it will be anything short of great.

Supposedly from what little information ive gathered about the MRP kits, there are significant hopup sealing problems.

WTF!! a WA2000 AEG? or am I reading you wrong?

The WA2000 NEEDS to be gas operated. .maybe a cosmetic kit for a Tanaka gas rifle. Otherwise. .I'll pass.

Err. A WA2000 NEEDS to be semi-auto. So screw the Tanaka-plan.

Hardly a big suprise a WA2000 comes out after everyone was practically pleasuring themselves over Ryan Coombes (Aka Candyman2s) custom WA2000 build. Theres nothing quite like letting an airsofter do all the hard work of prototyping and testing the water for a new airsoft gun, and then using their hard work to make money. Hmm, great.

Now why do i have the feeling that more companies are gonna make wa2000s after best gun makes them and sells them like crazy.

Because airsoft companies are chronically afraid of taking risk.

Why take a risk on a new design when we can just stick a RIS rail and a laser on a gun and sell it for £50 more than the stock option and just put some extra letters after the guns designation.

I can't wait till a company finally gets the balls to try something other than a G3/MP5/M4/AK and takes a bigger share of the airsoft market. Just look at the Steyer AUG, TM P90, Star L85 etc - they're testiment to the fact odd and unusual guns can be hugely popular even though they are a risky venture.

Well STAR guns may not be of the best quality, but hell they actually do take some risks, like making a m14 sopmod, ump45, l85, and now FNCs.

Tokyo Marui also does some ventures in airsoft, but they're more like based on popularity by anime, movies, games, or the Japanese people makes a demand for it.

Yeah i totally agree about STAR nightfire. its probabyl why almost overnight they've taken a pretty big chunk of the airsoft market. Although STAR also seem to be going for 100% quality parts, i think they're really aiming to be the Ferrari of airsoft. Whist TM either seems unable to be better than/or happy being: the Ford.

Whoa, don't insult TM with the comparisons to Ford wink.gif definitely more like the Honda of airsoft. Reliable, conservative, costs more than they should - its perfect biggrin.gif

Great analogy though. I'm not sure its more than a coincedence about the WA2000 though - if one guy could influence an airsoft company to release a new model, that would be very cool, and in that case, someone mock up an FN5-7 so we can touch ourselves at night over it. It's usually number one on our "what guns do you wish they'd make" list.
