Matrix SVD at Evike?
It looks alright, but what brand is it really? Does anyone know anything about this gun...?
The wood is a little plasticy, but that is fixable...
Any thoughts or info?

We all know that retailers tend to "round up" with their FPS chronos, but 100 FPS difference? Evike would be really pushing the limits with that...
Is that definitely the one gunner has in? I saw that earlier myself...

I don't know if the one on evike is the same, but it certainly looks it, and I don't know of any other cheap SVD's.

Evike states clearly that it has a metal gearbox though, so it doesn't seem like the same gun...

Who cares who it's made by? If you want an SVD for actual use, don't get an AEG. Simple. If it's just a wallhanger, what does it matter what the internals are like?

AEG-based AK/SVD hybrids are ugly as sin. Buy the King Arms gun if you want an SVD, it's the only way to be sure!

It can't be the same gun that gunner has though if it is metal gearbox. It's one thing to nudge FPS even that much, but you can prove a gearbox is metal or plastic too easily, that could not be a mistake. (With chronos you could claim one malfunctioned etc...) It probably isn't that good, but if somebody decides to test it out, make sure to give us info.

its good that they have an AEG SVD(even though it doesn't look like one), im so sick of my brothers Atoz SVD. So *fruitcage* hard to cock, I had red marks after cocking it.
