I played aroudn with that M4-S version. i was impressed. it felt just like a stock Marui weapon. i'm going to have to purchase one of these so i can see if it's worth the $150 or not. hell, for $150 i could get my whole neighborhood outfitted and start wars with other neighborhoods...

I agree tho. I want one too. They look pretty sweet and will probly blow the doors off my pos src m4. Are these set up the same way as the tm s-system? Will I need an adapter kit to intall a metal reciever?

i'll have to go dissect one of these and compare. it LOOKS all the same but i only held it and looked at it without taking it apart at all. it really didnt feel that bad and shooting sounded just like a Marui.

so if i'm to understand this, the AK gearbox can be upgraded 100% with TM stuff?

the hop up on the M4 S was exactly like the Marui version.

Wow, I feel like an idiot now. I could've picked up a C027 at a gun show the other day for $45, but I didn't know if it was one of CYMA's ... earlier guns.

Any neighborhood with AEGs will kick my neighborhood ass b/c people in my hood only have mini, springers, and UTG.

So will this s-system work out or is the marui still the best way to go. I have alot of aegs and never had a clone. So marui s-system or the clone. Say it was not about money. Which would you buy?

If it wasn't about money, you always buy the TM... their QC is head and shoulders better than any of the clones... that said, the clone is 50% of the price of the TM, so I'm willing to live with the QC issues.

Also keep in mind, my intent is to basically rip this gun apart and reuse the SIR on a metal body, as at $150.00 its still $50 cheaper than a Samuri or ICS SIR...

I have a marui EG1000 motor I could put in it. I am going to go ahead and get one. Do I still need the zeke metal body to fit like the marui? I am also going to rewire it to the back and add a crane stock for a larger battery. Should I expect to replace most of the internals? By the way, thanks for all the help.

Did this disappear? I wanted to recommend this to someone, but I can't find it on ASGI's site anymore? - The S-system I mean.

Yeah, I think so. I've seen items on there that were there one day and the next day it didn't exist... so most likely when it's out of stock, it's off the site.

Not a very good system if you ask me...
