It finally came out.

http://uncompany.com/

Now time for the 100rd mags.

Oh yah, its says that they're metal.

Which makes it better, but maybe its just an advertisement flaw.

I wonder if the mag could slide out of the gun, but seeing that the metal marui mag doesn't fully fall out, I guess i can puts some wieghts inside these mags.

I ordered a box of these yesterday.
I'll let you know what they're like when they turn up.

I was going to wait for the 100rd ones, but after skirmishing with std 50rd mags and 190rd hi-caps the other month, i found 50rds to be more than useful and having a vest full of them should be a riot smile.gif

I personally wouldnt see the need. After using my TM mags for about 4 skirmishes, the majority of my little collection are now loose in the mag well and drop completely out when the catch is pulled. Just use the mags more and they will drop out the well fine smile.gif

are the 100 round ones going to stick out the bottom? And is Star slowly releasing higher and higher capacity mags to make more money or is there a real reason?

From what i saw somewhere (can't remember where - sorry) the 100 rd ones are the same length/shape as the Marui hi-caps but internally use a single double bb stack the same as the normal mags.

Although please correct me if i'm wrong (baby indcued tiredness today!)

Hmmm dual mp7s, 10-50rd midcaps,and 10- 100rd hicaps.

I like the idea of dual wield with 100rds mags on each gun.

Nice thats awesome, now its more worth the money.

First time Star has ever made a box of metal midcaps.

I wonder if they'll do the same for Stanag mags and g3's

I won't be using them in anger until tomorrow, but i thought it worth adding that so far they all seem to feed with no problems and are pre-lubed nicely.

But..
They do seem to be slightly differing widths! So that it is a bit of a squeeze to get two of them in. I assume that this is due to the manufacturing process and should go over time (or with a bit of a squeeze, being metal!)
It's not really a problem, just an annoyance.

Are these a tight squeeze when they go in the MP7 magwell and do they drop out once you hit the mag release?

They are just about identical to the TM mags with the exception of the star logo on the base plate if I remember right.

Yes I know that its just one of my TM MP7 mags is tight fight due to the fact that TM put on to much paint while the original mag drops out fine unlike the other one.
