Finally another AATV video mini review. This time: Systema M4 M150 Max.

Well, it's a quick look at the Professional Training Weapon, the usual engrish, but in hi-res (720x540!). hi-res = bis size. the 4 minute video is about 60mb big.

I hope some of you arent afraid of the size, the english or both and can enjoy the video. Its in the reviews section of http://www.aatv.at

Feel free to leave positive and negative feedback. Im ready to discuss matters with you smile.gif

Damn was I the only one who cried when that beer died?

I was hoping that beer would win. A waste of beer is a strike against mankind.

I'm downloading the video as well. BTW, after seeing your video of the SP M16, I absolutely had to have one. I wonder how many SP's that video has sold. Good to see that AATV is still around. (off-topic)How are those SP's holding up?

Not I, they glossed over a lot of the downsides if not blatantly ignored 'em. Ah well, for me the honeymoon is over, it's just another M4, albeit an expensive one.

Still a nice little video. I still like Solo's more.

Personally I lost all respect for the PTW.

Buddy dropped it not even a 1/2 a foot. Light drop, nothing more then what I do 2 my G&P daily. And it snapped like it was made out of plastic. Cheap bodies atleast.

lol, it's a good gun, but frankly it's meant as a LE/MIL training weapon. It's internally WAY more durable than a normal AEG, but externally? Well it's not the best for strength. I've seen way more PTWs break than normal guns.

I love my Gen 3 and MAX, but I acknowledge that it's not perfect as a platform, I love the guns, but they are training guns, and as such not meant for hardcore skirmish. The community as a whole needs to not equate super expensive guns with super durable/high performance guns. Frankly I love my Systemas, and want to get an MP5 if/when they ever make it. But the gun was NOT developed for the skirmish market, it was made for the LE/MIL market, the IRONY of that is is that the LE/MIL market has for the most part been impartial (or outright rejected the PTW) as an alternative to other training methods.

Ah well, as I said the honeymoon is over for me on this gun.

What I find funny is that even after all this negative press about the PTW, there aren't all that many who are selling them. Granted, there probably aren't all that many to begin with...

no, there aren't in fact the amount of users world wide outside of japan is probably a lot less than we think. Don't get me wrong, it's a gun I'll keep, but frankly been there, done that, it is NOT the alpha and omega of airsoft guns like it was hyped up to be. Is it a good design? however for the price it has some glaring issues, durability under normal conditions, accuracy, etc. For the cost of this gun the user shouldn't have to accept issues that aren't present on other guns.

I hope that makes sense. I shouldn't be leaving the world of marui based M4s just to have a gun that's not as accurate as a standard V2 based M4 with a friggin TN barrel. That to me is wrong on a fundamental level. You shouldn't have to cut off your nose to spite your face.
