I'm one of the event coordinators for the test run here. We hope that this is the first of many annual conventions to be held in Minnesota. We are working hard to produce an exceptional event that will leave you smiling bigger than a rubber knife kill

UPDATE:
Gentlemen,
I just received word that OAKLEY will be setting up a booth to display their latest gear at the convention. They have confirmed that they will have different display models available for attendees to try. In addition they will have a full size-run of boots so anyone there can see how they fit and feel! The OAKLEY rep. is not only a Chicago area manager of a similar "O" type store that can be found at the Mall Of America, but he's a dedicated veteran airsoft player.
Be sure to check out all the detailed information that can be found in the link provided in the original post!
Thanks,
K9

The event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Center which is in a residential area of Inver Grove Heights. Therefore, Outdoor skirmishes are a no-go, but we are working on an indoor aspect that will allow you to get your "gun-on". The details are still in the mixer so look for more updates.
UPDATE:
Carter has just forwarded me an update from Evike.com.
Evike.com has generously donated a WE Hi-Capa 4.3 Aluminum slide GBB for the raffle! They will also be posting an event notification on their main webpage. I know that Carter and I have purchased several items from this great retailer and have received nothing but quality products and service.

Alex and the rest of his crew at American Airsoft Magazine are "All In" for the convention! I got to watch these guys in action at Codename: Thunder 3 and man are they into it. Taking hits left and right in order to get the best game footage and milling around with all the players as well. One exciting note is that there's a good possibility that if you come to the convention then you'll be able to lay your hands on their first ever issue!

The MAA's own Downtown has arranged for an indoor Airsoft game to be held the day before the convention. While he is working feverishly with Thunder Alley in Princeton, MN to nail down times, he has verified that there will be a game there. This is the place that I cut my teeth on Airsoft at and it really is a unique indoor environment. So, come up the day before, play Airsoft and then come to the Convention the next! A weekend of fun and all things Airsoft!

Keep your stations tuned to www.Airsoftradio.com as the Convention will make it into the next episode! I started listening to Bill and Lance not long after picking up the sport and have always enjoyed their rants and information on new and old products.
Thanks for the plug guys and we hope to see you at the show!

The MAA's own Carter owner/operator of imagecowboys inc., as well as one of the lead coordinators for the Airsoft Convention has generously donated a Star L85A2 to enhance the raffle! Carter has donated time and funding to ensure that this event is successful and is pouring his heart and soul into the event.

Make a point to personally thank him, and the rest of the Staff/Volunteers, at the Convention for the time and effort they've given to this venture. If you don't know Carter personally, he'll be the one with the glaring eyes on anyone who get's too close to the Hellcat!
