Just looked at airshooter and noticed they're stocking the Both Elephant G36 and the SL9

£69.95 each

Personaly think the SL9 looks a bit ugly...hmm, maybe it's the long mag that does it

Looks like i may have to get the SL9 in the future and gutt it and add TM internals

That's an SL-8 And by the looks of it, the PGB version.

So it is, SL8 then, more than likely the plastic gearbox versions aswell, if they were metal ones airshooter would be making a song a dance about it and charging nearer £100 lol

Fair enough lol he probably will do them cheaper if he ever gets them, maybe only a fiver less though, but still.

The BE SL8 should be sporting a metal gearbox, same with the G36. problem with the G36, similar to the BE AUG military, is that the integrated scope on the carry handle is completely worthless. I haven't seen/held one yet, but from what I gathered from other sites is that the G36 has flimsy plastic.

Pros:

* Sturdy gun
* Shoots 300+fps at ~15rps
* Stock is like CA and folds nicely and is only a hair bit wobbly
* Rubber buttstock and scope eyepiece
* Takes down like CA/TM, not a unibody

Cons:

* No fine aiming, scope is worthless
* Non-TM top rail mounts & selector switch
* Aluminum barrel
* Plastic trigger/Most of outer barrel & gas tube/Flashhider
* Feed tube requires mod to use TM mags
