from the rate of fire it would kinda seem like a scythe because it would just cut soldiers down when raked side to side.

On topic... Tad expensive, but it is true. WW2 replicas are somwhat rare, and the MG42s will certainly be top quality.

having had to fight against the original Shoei version before , i have to say these things are scary ! even in airsoft form

agreed with the ammo but the one i saw was definately firing further and faster than any other support weapons or aegs that day

The german called it Hitlersäge which roughly translates as Hitlers Saw. Just a short info to increase the nickname confusion

that sounds about right.

for what the gun costs, it should perform really, really well out of the box, you shouldnt have to double its allready silly cost to get something scrimishable out of it.
but that goes for most gas guns honestly

Well its a good thing too, Echigoya will probably start making more MG42s in AEG format.
