At that price, not me. Especially since it's got a gas tube.

If I could find a way to hook up one with a co2 tank a remote line, I'd be willing to buy one.

Thats seems like it'll work out at about the same price if you order it direct from escort. And from escort you get pretty much unlimited tech support and warranty.
Either way, I would order one but me not having a CQB field anywhere close by it would be silly for me unless I wanted to spend alot of money.

Erm, what? A gas tube?

Thats how pretty much EVERY classic gun is setup, with a Co2 or HPA rig...

If it used a gas reservoir in the mag then I would get it, but the whole hose and tank system is just retarded.

Oh goody, so it would be like modern day gas guns where you fire on full auto for a couple seconds and the slide jams up because of cool down. You're right, that would be lovely.

why is hose and tank retarded..? i quite like that setup.. allows me to use 1 tank for the whole day, minimal cooldown, tank can go in medic pouch or dump pouch.

These have been out for a few months... and if you buy one, you're going to be waiting a few weeks because they're hand-built by Escort only as needed.

Also, I'd rather that SniperX (he's both here and at Classic Airsoft) fix me up with his complete set-up for classics!

actually, no you wont be waiting for a few weeks, because redwolf has them in stock, they would be on 'pre order' if they had to have them built

I bought one from RedWolf a couple of weeks ago. Unlike the ones supplied direct from Escort, they don't come with any spares, and they are not tested. I have had feeding problems with mine since buying it, and had it come direct from Escort, it would have failed quality control. Thankfully, SniperX is helping me to resolve the issue via email.

Other than that, a cracking piece of kit. Put next to an ICS, the ICS looks like a toy. This thing looks and feels like the real deal. More importantly, when you fire it, it feels like the real deal. And almost as loud. My air rig is hidden in a Bug Out 3 Day Pass assault pack, and the hose to the gun is hidden in a hollow one point sling from the pack's shoulder strap to the gun's pistol grip. The rig is a Nikken Sherman M4 dual air tank which you can refill with a car tyre inflator. Lasts as long as a battery, but only takes 5 minutes to 'recharge' mid-game. Just pop to the car park, plug the inflator into the cigarette lighter socket, make yourself a cup of tea, then you are fit to go again.

I have also fitted a lower reciever with 3 round burst markings (like the TM Japanese Police MP5), from an old JAC MP5 classic. All this toppped off with G&P tac light foregrip (needs modding to fit), and a couple of pairs of clamped ICS hi-caps, and you can keep your sewing machine MP5s! Anyone want to buy an unloved AEG?

Hmm, I'm not familiar with how an Escort gun works, but would it be possible to fit the lower reciever and the "worky bits" inside a CA33E?

Surely it would also be a bit easier - as bigger is easier to work in.

What's so good about a hose and tank? The hose would get in the way and possibly snag on something.

As for the tank, I thought it was one of those huge things strapped to your back like in the Marui promo vid.

Tbh mate, id carry a tank like that on my back and risk snagging the hose on something for proper blowback on a rifle/SMG.

The tank doesn't have to be huge. I think most people use a 20oz paintball tank, but you can use those 12g disposable CO2 capsules if you want.

A tank won't have to be much bigger than a canteen, and the hose wouldn't be any worse than a normal sling, probably not even noticable.

I've never used an Escort, but they look so cool biggrin.gif
