info from airsoft-news.eu:

Guay Guay: "National AEGs"

For the first time one of the major AEG manufacturers openly asks for participation in development. This interesting offer is made by Guay Guay:

"Dear Customers,

G&G is happy to announce that we wish to offer the players of each country the opportunity to have their 'own' AEG developed. This means that we encourage you to contact G&G and let us know what the 'national' gun for your country is and then we will consider making an airsoft version of that gun. E.g. The 'national gun' of England is the L85 A1/A2.

Anyone that provides us with the necessary information to develop the AEG, (e.g. providing blue prints, pictures or parts from the real gun), will be rewarded with FOUR (4) finished AEG's.

Thank you,

G&G Trading"

what would want G&G to make ???

HMMMMM, A bb firing pike?

I dunno, I wouldent mind them making a more affordable verson of their SA80, like the plastic versions for say $250?

This is going to be hard if you actually want to do it... imagine, how you are going to be able to get your hands on the blueprints to say an AN-94 or SAR-21 or any bleeding edge assault rifle for that matter? Good look on google... Your only hope is if you know someone who knows someone or if you happen to work for some company where you can take down the measurements… or if you want to risk your work, send G&G a piece of that AICW...

Boy I would love to get a chance to do this, but looks like all the weapons that you can realistically send specs for are older models that lots of people have had a chance to feel up and touch.

I don't think you HAVE to send only blueprints, they said just regular pics is fine as well, I guess the downside is that you may not be considered as much as those who actually send in pieces or blueprints.

Just sounds to me like they want to speed things up and get someone with the blueprints or parts to some AEG that they could consider makeing. I imagine getting rights to makeing something like a G36 isn't very cheep, let alone the prints for one...

I vote:

SAR-21, TAR-21 or USAS-12

Imagine having something like a gas operated USAS-12! biggrin.gif
