Maruzen is making a air precision pistol just like KSC. Its an air cocking that comes with a plastic case and about 190 Euro.

They've had something similar for quite some time, just not as cool. That really looks nice...but I'm looking at a considerably more powerful pellet pistol that does the same thing, for $20 less. We'll see what happens.

I can't see these being popular outside Japan (they never have before), as, for less money (as Glenn says) you can get much better airguns that fire more consistent ammo.

If someone made a GBB Walther GSP, though, I'd be interested smile.gif

Cheers.

the way i understand it, you gotta pull a lever to load the gun, and then pull another one to pressurize it or whatever?

First lever loads a BB, second one cocks a spring.

Hmm does it cock a spring or compress air. There's a 1000 dollar question.

If it had a legal fps, and good accuracy, I would get one as a sniper rifle smile.gif

by the (poxy web)sound of the video, I would be thinking spring, especially since the APS1 and APS2 is based on spring as well.

I bet spring, just because they're is no precedent for air cocking in airsoft, yet.

The KSC gas gun looks nice. I wonder if they've gone all out and emulated the gage on a PCP pistol as well?

I love target guns...I'm hoping one of these finds it's way into my hands at some point.

I'm kind of holding out though, because I'd like to see what the KSC and Maruzen guns can do.

Ugh. The side-mounted magazine brings back bad memories of the Super-9 rifle.

Oooh yeah! .22LR target pistols are hot! Now why is that APS-3 looking like some old-model Feinwerkbau?

You wanna die with a man's gun. Not a little sissy gun like that.

I use to own a Maruzen APS1 Grandmaster. . it shot extremely accurate but power was mediocre. . pretty rare to find. . not a popular gun in the States at all. Lack of available upgrades in HK and US made it obsolete. In Japan you can at least a dozen upgrades for it.

If the mechanism is anything like the APS-2 series, any machine shop can make upgrade pistons and spring guides for it easily. A lot of other parts can also be made from scratch.

Does that mean that KSC is also going to produce a match-pistol? Or was it just related to KSC Guns in general? rolleyes.gif

Thats true I live in Germany, and over here Targetshooting (using Airguns) is maybe the most popular Sport straight after soccer biggrin.gif
But they/we/I biggrin.gif only are using guns that costed 1000-1500€ the Walther LP300XT the Feinwerkbau P40 /P34 (I own a P34) sometimes you see some Tesro or Anschütz but though I'm quiet interested in a Airsoft Version (just for Fun) but it would be great if I knew the diameter of the innerbarrel, (maybe x-fire will build a 6.01mm one that would be fantastic.)

Short comment on the vid. The guy loads the gun and then pressurises it, if the shooting-trainer of my team could see that he would get quiet angry. rolleyes.gif
Thats the same like having the finger on the trigger all the time and don't point the muzzle in a safe directory.
