EDIT: I think the muzzle velocity is just a WGC typo, cause most other SRCs are around 260-280, not 360-380, too bad.

I assume the extra charges for upgrades included the FPS increase?

Wow, I may just pick one up, WGC is saying it can go 360-380 FPS.

well I think they offer to reduce if need be - particularly for us on UK soil

Again, I think its just a typo:
1) How many companies produce assault rifles that shoot 380FPS stock?
2) SRCs last AEG (RPK) is about 270, why would they make an XM8 370ish?

STAR do, I had to have my L85 downgraded, and some of there other AEG's are fairly high end.

You know what guys? My both elephant XM8 upgrade plan is going in the bin....i just cant justify it when there is already an XM8 on the market that has flip up iron sights, metal gearbox, scope in the sight block and metal outer barrel that costs less than half the parts i need to make my XM8 good(i worked it out, it would be near $500!).

Sod that, im having me one of these!

Are they sure about that large battery? That handguard seems awful small to me.

Wow, this is sweet. If I wasn't going to buy a P90, I'd think about one of these. After someone wrote a review, of course.

If Tokyo Marui or Classic Army ever comes out with an XM8, my M16 goes on eBay

as far as I have heard lately, SRC are making really good guns now; only thing I dont know about is ROF, but a Marui motor is around 30$, plus a spring (to upgrade or downgrade the AEG) you get a nice gun for 250$.
My local shop is getting a batch of SRC M4s next week so Im going to test a few then.

The only thing I cant see on this AEG (and on all XM8s) are the sling attachment points??

I thought there was one near the front, but didnt notice anything at the back.

Maybe thats why it has a carry handle
