Saw this at airsoft-news: AIM (has something to do with the Kart M14 and the new G36) is coming out with some parts for the M4 family: 4 different metal bodies with Marui-like Colt markings, flash hider, handle, RIS, multiple length outer barrel, ... not really new, but given that AIM AEGs are some of the cheapest cheap-AEGs, I expect these bits to be really affordable. We'll see...[attachment=24869:attachment]

Hmmm... great find. I really need a metal body for my SR-16, so AIM here I come. Any info. on when they are coming out? I just hope that the prices are as low as SRC's.

This is very old, we've had these metal bodies for at least six months in France. Here's a review of the M4 version, in french, but there are pictures :

Actually, it looks pretty good for the price, but I've never seen one.

I'm buying a second hand AIM M4, glad to know there's going to be some affordable bits and bobs out there.

Im paying £100 for the M4 plus Red dot sight, Good price i think?. Any news on how much these will cost?

Depends how much the red dot is worth, and if you're getting battery/mags.
Gun and hicap mag is £95 quid new so should only be worth £70 at the most second hand.

Anyone know when/if we'll see these in the UK?

Never seen them... also wonder why they are on airsoft-news right now when AP had them some time ago?
Anyway, APs Cyma M14 goes at 149 euros compared to the 105$ at gunners. So, proportionally, the metal bodies should run at about 45-50$. If you count that smaller (or cheaper) things have a smaller proportional difference betwwen their european and HK prices, I dont think theyll cost much more than 60$. or at least, thats what I hope for.

As an AIM M4 user, it was one of my first AEG's. It taught me a lot and I've fiddled with it adding bits of LPEG's and higher class systems. I would like a new metal body for it that would be good.

Gun + hicap = £95
Battery = £30
Red dot = depends on what it is, anywhere between £15 and £100
With a battery and red dot £100 is a decent deal yeah.

Need a metal body for my AIM, CA on the front and ICS on the back. Really don't trust the AIM plastic body with my masterkey attached.

No guru, no mother, no method, no effort, no tactic, no style, nice smile, bad form...

Just a note... But the AIM M4 Metal Body is horrible. A basic rub with your nail will scratch it. I don't reccomend buying it. Trust me, for a few more dollars you can get something much better.
