What the heck are they thinking? Is this for the Airsoftinista that says to him (or Her) self, "I want a new plastic stock that looks and feels ###### and costs almost as much as a real-wood one or damn near what I could buy a complete separate new chinese-clone M14 for, yes I do!" and "Anyone got any swampland in Florida to sell as well?"

$30, $40 bucks I could maybe see to replace a worn or damaged original- but yikes! once you factor in shipping, you could seriously get the wood upgrades.



Also, side question- Has anyone found out what is special about the "LD" barrels on the newer Marushin Garands?

Well the "wood" on the marui is not even as good IMHO as the "wood" on the KART and DE. But that is the price you pay for genuine marui parts.

I saw the same thing for sale at WAR4 in their store.

Don't forget a lot of people don't have to factor in shipping as they live there. Wood is too heavy for some people. Plastic gets broken and needs replacing.

Agreed and acknowledged Sherlock- the point that we are all making is the price is exorbitant. No one disputes the use or possible need- they are simply charging too much for most likely $5 bucks worth of styrene and color dye, that's all.

I don't think it's THAT bad of an idea. The price is bad, but if someone needs a replacement, and for whatever reason they dont like wood/want plastic it's fine.
