As above, see the home page. I apologize if this is in the wrong section. When it comes out, I am buying one-period. Knowing VFC's reputation, it will be good quality for a reasonable price.

Cheers,
Daniel

It's looks absolutely stunning and being a WW2 reenactor I get to see BARs on a fairly regular basis. I told myself my G&G L85A1 would be my last major airsoft purchase but perhaps if win a shedload of cash I may get a BAR too. I'm hazarding a wild guess that it's going to cost as much as a small island in the Caribbean!

I wouldn't like to hazard a guess yet but it's certainly going to be pretty weighty as you say.

I've just taken a look at the JAC BAR on WW2 guns, $3650?!!!! No thank you! Even the VFC won't be that stupidly expensive. (or will it?! wink.gif ) Plus the VFC doesn't have the carrying handle which is incorrect for WW2 but ok for Korea and later. As Inokatsu announced their BAR sometime ago I wonder when they're going to put some pictures out? I didn't even know VFC were developing one.

wwiiguns.com is the biggest ripoff, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, its a scam run by some norwegian, he also does "hong kong" shops. he has really great pictures but he dosnt have any of that, its a ripoff

I do recall hearing something to that effect a while ago. I stick to the well known and trusted HK shops when buying from abroad.

i just want to say thank god for companies like vfc, king arms, and star, because without them, things like a bar, fnc, fal, and l85 would never happen. i mean, i love marui and classic army, but come on guys, do we really need 10 variations of the m4? im glad we're finally seeing something unique and reliable out there.

and without TM, there would be no p90, no AUG (cause CA wouldnt have any to clone), no thompson, no sig series, no type 89 etc etc...
just saying that TM doesnt just make lots of the same gun wink.gif

but i agree that star and VFC seem to be looking toward a more original approach, rather than just cloning and improving the clones.

well.. VFC BAR.. im guessing over 1K, but less than 2 tongue.gif quite a big range, but hey.. depends on what materials they use

He's not norwegian, but finnish/japanese. And he has never ran "Hong Kong" shops. He's located in Japan and advertises as a japanese business.

Just to reiterate what has been said on pretty much every Airsoft related site across the known universe: (Well, just the ones written using words, text, or human language of some sort)

Caveat Emptor, Let the buyer beware,

DO NOT USE wwiiguns.com !

Someday, when we are old and gray, perhaps this mantra will not have to be repeated every 10 seconds somewhere as it is now. It's an interesting fact that if you try to scoop someone on some bit of seemingly obscure Airsoft new-weapons related news item, you will instantly find several 'News-Hound Experts' have already beaten you to the punch and then the "Old news" admonishments begin in all their hilarity.

However, it is truly a conundrum that often the same folks that one sees on many different Airsoft related boards will make a reference to the Baghdad Bob of Airsoft sites, wwiiguns.com, as if they have never heard anywhere that is is a ripoff. I wonder how that works huh.gif

I believe that the release of not one, but two quality AEG B.A.R. replicas will force the remaining JAC BAR's out of hiding and into the discount bin. Yes, while classic 'tank and adapter' airsoft guns are still quite good and desireable, a reliable AEG version will no doubt have a greater market-share even at the $1000+ level. I would personally love to see more WWII era weapons from these quality mfgs- MP44 AEG, a reliable all-metal MP40 (Marushin? yeah, see 'all-metal'), a quality, reliable metal M3A1 Grease Gun, how about a nice M1919? the list goes on. This could be a cash cow for the Japanese or Chinese Airsoft manufacturers...that is of course if they are remotely interested in meeting public demand and interest, which seems to be a somewhat foreign concept to them to date.

Slainte!

i dont think it will be too rediculous. i mean, the m60 has a lot of different, intricate parts. the bar seems to be rather simple. large reciever piece, long barrel, bipod. im going to guess it'll be less than an m60. also, it's mag fed, so you dont have to worry about expensive bog mag or bb resivoir systems.

im guessing $600-700.
