I've just taken a look at the JAC BAR on WW2 guns, $3650?!!!! No thank you! Even the VFC won't be that stupidly expensive. (or will it?!

just saying that TM doesnt just make lots of the same gun
but i agree that star and VFC seem to be looking toward a more original approach, rather than just cloning and improving the clones.
well.. VFC BAR.. im guessing over 1K, but less than 2

He's not norwegian, but finnish/japanese. And he has never ran "Hong Kong" shops. He's located in Japan and advertises as a japanese business.

Caveat Emptor, Let the buyer beware,
DO NOT USE wwiiguns.com !
Someday, when we are old and gray, perhaps this mantra will not have to be repeated every 10 seconds somewhere as it is now. It's an interesting fact that if you try to scoop someone on some bit of seemingly obscure Airsoft new-weapons related news item, you will instantly find several 'News-Hound Experts' have already beaten you to the punch and then the "Old news" admonishments begin in all their hilarity.
However, it is truly a conundrum that often the same folks that one sees on many different Airsoft related boards will make a reference to the Baghdad Bob of Airsoft sites, wwiiguns.com, as if they have never heard anywhere that is is a ripoff. I wonder how that works
I believe that the release of not one, but two quality AEG B.A.R. replicas will force the remaining JAC BAR's out of hiding and into the discount bin. Yes, while classic 'tank and adapter' airsoft guns are still quite good and desireable, a reliable AEG version will no doubt have a greater market-share even at the $1000+ level. I would personally love to see more WWII era weapons from these quality mfgs- MP44 AEG, a reliable all-metal MP40 (Marushin? yeah, see 'all-metal'), a quality, reliable metal M3A1 Grease Gun, how about a nice M1919? the list goes on. This could be a cash cow for the Japanese or Chinese Airsoft manufacturers...that is of course if they are remotely interested in meeting public demand and interest, which seems to be a somewhat foreign concept to them to date.
Slainte!
