Available for preorder on Redwolf:

Cavalvy Toto II Tactical Headset (for Kenwood 2-way radio Dual Pin) - (PRE-ORDER)

Cavalvy Toto II Tactical Headset (for Motorola 2-way radio Dual Pin)

$89.90 - only £45.89 for a replica of the Bowman PRR Headset (As I understand it, the Bowman PRR and the SELEX PRR are one and the same thing.)

And... given that you can pick up a Bowman PRR headset for £45 on ebay. The only real advantage in buying the Cavalvy Toto II is that it already comes with a kenwood or a motorola pin ...saving you the hassle of doing it yourself.

I saw those, they look pretty rad. I'm just wondering if it is possible some how to switch which ear the headset can go on.

It's supposed to go on your left ear. Don't think you can switch sides. At least I can't on my Bowman.

Damn. I wonder if someone can compare these to the Devgru and Toy Soldier Swimmer headsets. That would be interesting. smile.gif

Just pre-ordered a Kenwood compatible set for myself, and a Motorola set for Ubar. If I get them before a review is done on the database, I'll try and get one done. smile.gif

What a bugger that it wouldn't fit a cobra, or I would be having one of these for sure. I can't be arsed to buy a new radio for the headset / mic, rather than a new headset / mic for my current radio !

I have to say, they look pretty close to the real ones. From an aesthetical POV they look pretty tasty tongue.gif

Also, I noticed that they are being sold on ebay too, check it out:

Slightly off-topic, but this headset might suit your needs:

Mine and Ubar's finally arrived. They've been in the country for over a fortnight, but a long list of blunders by Parcel Farce (involving me having to go multiple times to their depot to obtain the bloody things) meant that I've only this morning been able to finally pick them up.

Initial Impressions: excellent build quality, comfortable and robust design, kenwood model works 100% with my Linton radio set. Hard to assess the quality of audio without another radio set, but the 'start-up' notes and white noise on the radio played loudly and crisply.

If anyone's bothered, I'll try and write a more detailed review asap. smile.gif

Marlowe did HM Custom & Excise charge you anything on your import for these? I ordered mine and it got into the country on the 11th. From this point on Parcel Force have been sitting on it till yesterday when I received a letter asking to cough up £23.80 for import and handling fees :/

Is that just for one? Owch. It cost me £29.50 for both. That was the start of the problems - PF sent me a letter saying it was ready to be collected and informing me of the customs charge, so I went to pay it...

...Only it wasn't ready to be collected and they wouldn't accept payment to clear the charges and speed up the process until I pointed out it might speed up the process and improve customer service. rolleyes.gif

Then it was promised to arrive on the Tuesday delivery. Nothing. So I rang them up. It was down as awaiting custom charges still - and it was only when I gave them the name of the individual who had stamped my letter as paid that they waived the charges and promised to send it the next day...

Only they didn't deliver it then. They claimed 'attempted' delivery at a time when I was in the house, waiting by the window for them. Nothing, and no card, etc. Since that point it was down as 'held at depot'...

...But I finally got it today. God bless Parcel Farce. dry.gif

Still, I'm not complaining too much, as I expect customs charges on the average sized order from RW etc. smile.gif

Please do. Be interested to see how well they work and whether there are any 'issues' with them.

They come with a PTT, right ?!? Where is it located... On the headset itself, or somewhere down the wire ?!? How big is it, and does it look "fragile" ?!?
