Huh. I was just about to make a topic about this. Looks cool, but a little too expensive for me. Although it probably would look cool on the wall...

I'd rather get a converted panzershreck, but that's pretty sweet.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, but that not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so if every planet in the universe has a population of zero, then the entire population of the universe must also be zero, and any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

not bad by the looks of the vids, now I just need to get a hold of one of them Nightmare Armor Halo Rocket Launchers...

or maybe I could just find a way to make vertical grips and trigger mechanism - the way you hold the LAW doesn't look very stable and comfortable to me, maybe someone who served could prove me wrong.

Imagine this getting through US Customs - customs dude opens up the box and sees the LAW and goes OMFG open all the boxes we got terrorists lol

I think it looks like ###### with all those screws... And did they say breach loaded?! ROFL!

Agent47 - the LAW wasn't designed to be stable or comfortable. It's usually fired a ranges that I would never want to be that close to a enemy tank, so no need to be too stable. It's more point and click. And as for comfortable... You have it on your shoulder for hopefully 5 seconds max to aim and fire, the rest of the time it's colapsed and is carried on your ruck. Considering 99% of the time it's strapped to something you're carrying... it excels as being a light tube.

Umm, yes, they said breach loaded. How the hell did you think you would get the shower shell in the thing? And I don't know what you are talking about looking like ***** with the screws. A friend of mine has a spent tube that looks quite similer to the Deep Fire one, asside from the fact it's quite obviosly fiberglass while the DF one is obviosly plastic.

It says (Metal) on the Redwolf description.
It also weighs in at a healthy 3.5kgs.

Hmm... I don't see any screws here on the real thing to mount the trigger assembly to the tube... Dang, no screws at all... Just a couple rivets by the sights.

Hmm, my friends had rivets along the ignition system shroud. Maybe it was an older model? dunno.

In the youtube video the rear end (black bit) looked a bit too shiny for my liking. Enter krylon paint smile.gif

The only thing i really want from it, is to know if the sling is included. Would be a bit of an effort to carry it round if it wasn't tongue.gif

Nice looking launcher, it's on my want list.

Lance, have you seen a real LAW? They are tiny! Just quick strap one to your assault pack and you are Good to Go. Hell, I could bungie cord one to my Hydrostorm!

Personally I think if you really want a LAW hunt down a real one (mine cost £20). You can't use it but I think an M72 would be too impractical to use against people.

The thing is though, if you had the sling with it, it'd be a nice little back up to put over a shoulder when not wearing a rucksack. I've only ever seen two people wear a rucksack in game so far.

$300 for that thing? Forget it.

Edited by Gorlock, 07 January 2007 - 07:43 PM.

A few months back at an industry meeting (ASGK), Tokyo Marui anounced their new product....toy trains. They anounced their weapon and gun intrests will become secondary to other pursuits.

In a couple of years these will be used on skirmish sites as BB supply systems. CYMA will make a copy that is 1/3 of the price and everyone will complain that "the newbies will all have them!!!". Meanwhile, CA will make the same design with fifteen variations of transport carts, all with Armalite trademarks, and have the cabs made out of cast zinc. G&G will detail the externals, but forget to put the engine in, while G&P will be the best for the price but largely ignored. VFC will make the train that everyone has been asking for, but when it comes out we'll all say it's too expensive. UTG will sell the CYMA trains, but half the community will claim that the engines are different.

That's got me searching the net for a used one, none found so far. Anyone know where i might find one, I'd like to see if I could convert one to fire a moscart. without spending £160+ on a rep.
