HeuteGegangen
Search next time. Can't find it? Search harder. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...topic=44116&hl= http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...black+hawk+down http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...50entry652950
t3hDesertFox
No, it's not a CIRAS. It's Ranger Body Armor in Woodland, with ALICE gear worn over it. If I remember correctly, some of the CAG guys had BHI gear, but I'm not positive. Either an M16A2 or M733 would work. Oh, and Issue sun/dust goggles threaded through the helmet cover. Jagdraben
I believe that some of the Rangers wore flight gloves... I know that the D-boys did.
Belladonna
nope jag i studdied the actual conflict for my a-level art project, and real photos showed a ranger officer, with those builders gloves, most without, but all had fast rope gloves, but you cant fight with those... Jagdraben
In the movie all the D-boys (or most) had sage flight gloves... I thought I saw one or two Rangers with a pair on.... If I were them I would have taken a pair. Sweaty palms and all that.
darkchild130
ah, then the question is does he want a movie loadout or a real conflict loadout? Darkchild
Belladonna
gear was mostly the same, but lets face it, gloves wont make a difference... i was just answering his message
TheKurodaVagrant
The flight gloves are period accurate, though. They had 'em back in the '80s, they still use 'em today, so there's no reason that they couldn't have been worn in Mogadishu by the specialized units. And considering this is airsoft, any sort of hand protection is welcome.
