That's a stupid amount of money for something that doesn't include a gear box, hop unit, inner barrel, battery, or even the correct type of magazine!

The Galil is such a lovely gun but getting
one custom or that kit or, like you said, one
fully made is just copiously expensive.
Ah well, lets hope someone clones it soon
enough ^^

I love the Galil, but If I'm gonna plunk down that kind of coin it needs to have the correct mag, and have wood furniture.

same here. i was actually watching a documentary on the IDF when i read this post, but i was attempting to do an algebra II midterm review packet at the same time, which never happened. (###### about that still) The Galil grew on me REALLY quickly, and i agree with you moody, and im pretty sure anyone else who doesnt have money trickling out of their ass who wants a galil does too. plus, the bottle opener on the front handguard and barb wire cutter on the bipod (including a bipod would be nice too) would be a nice bonus too

That would be an ARM version though.
The other thing that annoyed me about this announcement - was why even bother making the AR version in the first place? The SAR and the ARM are THE classic versions of the Galil - and are used by the South Africans, the Columbians, the Estonians and several other countries as well.
Ah well, like somebody else said - let's hope the cloners pick up on this and do a decent one at a decent price. Or, we can just wait for G&G to release their RK95 (Finnish assault rifle - similar to a Galil) next year...

inokatsu kits are REALLY good quality, and thats why you pay so much, ok i also wouldnt spend 1300 on a kit, but there is a market!
at least they make new versions, and not copy something thats already here

Shame they are only making 30 units, that kind of puts a rush on me to get the money quickly as it sounds like 20 of the 30 are already reserved.

Duke, how difficult would it be to convert a galil arm to escort?

If you meant converting the old FTC one forget it. That thing is about as useful as you've got it, sitting on display. Mine is in parts on the floor while I try to stuff a V3 gearbox in it. The plastic receiver makes Marui look robust. I only meant I would be taking the bipod and wood off the FTC and put it on the Ino, but now I see that they will be offering ARM parts so I may just keep it as it is.
