Maybe it will make M16s rare and I'll finally be unique! But yeah, even on the EGLM, I'll be waiting for the CA version. And I predict that the price of the STAR SCAR won't be too high due to the fact that CA is releasing theirs with a price of $400 and 2 other companies are producing it. The STAR M60's will probably be like $800-900, since VFC's is already out. At least its a step above their M249 which was totally plastic, the M60 is now Metal. Link to post Share on other sites
Shinden Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 After seeing Star's progress, I probably will have to buy the Star Scar...(and gut out the gearbox with P.E. special box). If anything, I do prefer Star's detail work that goes into thier guns compared to CA overall. Then again, this is a more accurate replica in my opinion, including the grenade launcher compared to CA's re-colored M203. Also to note, Star is making both SCAR LIGHT and HEAVY models if any noticed in the pictures. Link to post Share on other sites

tome Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 If the Star SCAR pics are of the actual prototype I'd say that at this point Star are defo ahead of CA. Reasons? Rear body pin is in the right place, fire selector on both sides, vaguely realistic barrel change. I was going to but the CA SCAR but this had convinced me to wait and see.
