I wonder if it might be possible to convert this onto a real AEG?

I would love to have my M4 look like that and have the 9mm conversion as my CQB setup!

If its like the rest of academy's stuff i don't see why not, i think this might even be  copy of an ICS M4 rather than marui judging by the pictures of how it takes down.

You have no idea how long I've been waiting for one of these to come out. The only thing it's missing is the funny little wire stock that I've seen alot of Kitty Kats with...

Are you sure it's an AEG? Guns N Guys have an Academy SIG552 (which was supposedly an AEG) under their spring rifles section.

Any Idea on FPS or battery type, will this be a gun you could use in a game. i am thinking about rentals I need some new guns as the 8-M4's, 10 MP5 SD6's, 6 AK47's, and 4AK spetz are rented out two months in advanced at that praice ($58usd) I could add in 20 guns. If you hear anymore info on these guns please please lets us all know, it could sure help my business.

Thanks,
Shane

They aren't as powerful as normal AEGs so it wouldn't be fair to be kitting people with them.

And according to arnie it is an AEG it probably runs of a 7.2v like most academy guns.
I have returned.

Well, Hopefully a TM/ICS M4 gearbox will slide right in.

Academy seem to be going in the right direction these days, I'll see wether I can pick one of these up and have a look.

Urm, that doesn't look like an actual takedown, more like a Photoshopped separation of the receiver.

It probably is. I know inferno will be interesed in modding one, seeing as he did a whole project (CUstom Mini M4) based on an old kitty kat. If a TM/ ICS Gearbox slides in I'll look at buying it smile.gif

all the M4 9mm kits are ment for TM mag wells- the 5.56 academy mag well is a little smaller than the TM, so i dont know if the kits will fit without some serious fileing.

im not sure, but i think it can be bodged. if there's any excess on the mag converter, than can be trimmed.

How do you know this caz? just because academy's l85 mag well was smaller doesn't then M4 Kitty Kat's is.

remember,
"smart people...*everyone on call centre turn round and say as one* bodge it!"
okay, only people in the UK will get that one...maybe then even not.

on a serious note, the mag well wont be much of a difference. you cant cahnge it that much without altering the look of the gun.
