The eagle on the top one made me think Bren Ten. And the Bren Ten made me think of Miami Vice. And Miami Vice made me think of AWESOME.

Someone needs to make a good GBB Bren Ten.

Neat 1911's, on topic!

I'm not saying WA should stop making 1911s, but they should try something new as well.

Absolutely right.
But they could also expand their Beretta line:
Imagine a WA BERETTA PX4!!

I would only buy WA guns if they would make the H&K and GLOCK line...wow..imagine a WA H&K P30 wide-eyed.gif

Why?

If you want a gun that isnt a 1911, 2011, or a Beretta, there are plently of other companies out there, I wish people would stop bitching about WA's product range.

Don't you think there would be demand, and that it would be a good business move for WA to put some fresh life into GBBs by introducing a new model like the PX4? Is it bad for them to be more original?

I love the number of options and attention to detail that WA puts into 1911s - that's precisely the reason why I want to see other series produced by them with similar dedication.

well, they batch produce all their different models, and it would cost a hell of a lot to produce new molds and research new systems. They already must pay a heck of a lot for the licenses to make all these different models of all different manufacturers..

Essentially, I don't think WA guns would be any better than TM, KSC, or any other brand if they branched out, they would end up spending less on any individual gun and all the little touches which make WA's special would go up in smoke.

Essentially, they're better off as they are.

Yup, I'm just waiting for WA to produce an operator or a TRS. Those, or a 7 inch something.

It would be cool if they made others but that's up to them. I'm not really in to 1911s so I really can't tell the difference between these new ones and the old ones. You've got to think that they'll run out of different grips and slide designs eventually though.
Looking for fellow 'softers at Bristol Uni, feel free to drop me a PM!

When that happens, they're going to try new frame designs, sight designs, trigger designs, magazine designs, barrel designs, hammer designs, etc.

A Browning HP-esque slide like this would be pretty cool and unique.

maybe because only two companies make the mk23? one of which is hard to come by, and the other is a NBB.

We'll know WA is out of options the day they produce a gun with grips like those.

But I agree, cool and different slide.

I can't tell the difference between different 1911 models, so that doesn't excite me in the slightest...

I just see black 1911, silver 1911, another black 1911, another silver 1911.

Appropriate that the Eagle should make you tinnk of the Bren as it's the same Eagle. The late great Jeff Cooper, propriator of Gunsite was one of the prime movers behind the Bren ever coming into existance.

He loved the CZ75, then unavailable in the USA ( it was a Commie afterall ) but wanted it made in a man size cartridge instead of 9mm. So when Dornadus & Dixon went to him with plans for the Bren Ten he endordsed it and allowed them to use his Gunsite Logo.
Back home again.

hitman - that gun looks pretty sweet.

I'm a fan of WA 1911's, but I also wouldn't mind if they developed the Beretta Cx4 Storm carbine and/or the Px4
