Hay, selfless plug. Just thought I would try and promote my home community. Think I'll pick up one of those bodies for a future project. By the way that RRV is working fine. wink.gif

Nah, the M249's really aren't going to be as cliche'd as anything on the skirmish fields as the MP5, M16, M4, G36 type weapons. Too expensive, heavy and whatnot. Even a chinese offering might be a little far out there too. Maybe, we'll have to wait and see. But as far as the G+P 249 goes, it whomps the ass out of what CA or TOP has to offer as far as looks and durability, costwise too. I have one that has 50,000K rounds on it, and it still shoots like the day I got it. It chronos at 388 right out of the box with nothing to upgrade and has performed flawlessly since then. No wear and tear on the internals yet either. I have a review posted under reader's review here on the second page of the topic listing. It's more technical than picture heavy, so some of you may not like it, lol. It's under The CA, Star, TOP's new compitition header. Look it up and see what makes it better than the rest of the other SAW's out there.

Yep, cause the inability to use M16 mags and requiring full gearbox disassembly to change the spring are great features.

Wouldn't use a M16 mag in any case, and I don't swap out springs like a madman on crack, even when I had my Star M249. G+P's M249 is perfect for what I use it for.
