Airsoft Eu has some interesting pics of the Type 97 rifle bieng broken down, looks pretty well made, if you can get past the looks (not really a fan) but good pics anyway. biggrin.gif

Remains to be seen on the internals and all that jazz though.

wow. It'd be great if these guys hit the ground running with their QC. its a genuine pleasure to see some absolute outsider guns coming out.

I'm all about the sniper version, too. That thing is the shizzle.

I think it'll be pretty good, if they are any decent real steel manufactures then their QC and tolerances should be at least better than the cloners.

EDIT: spelling

Reckon a large size battery would fit in that foregrip?

Anybody know if the gearbox will be released as a stand alone product?

I guess the trigger is the switch for the gearbox, great for custom guns.

oh thats hot. i'm so getting one when they come out. M16 mag compatible, bullpup, decent build quality, accurate to real steel (probably) inventive and clever gearbox? its everything i've been looking for.

...now, to get a second gearbox and see if it fits in my SVD....

Okay... I know I'll get flamed for this one, but does anyone else think those pictures look a little too computer generated?

Very promising indeed! I might get one if the quality is good, the price is reasonable, and the chance of it getting "inspected" (raped) by U.S. Customs is small.

probably a mini battery in the foregrip or above the mechbox. possibly a stick in the same place as the MP5K or AKS.

Might fit in the SVD body....the nozzle looks about the right height (although it is in a strange postion, I wonder what the tappet plate will be like and if spares will be available). Trigger might be a problem but it's definitely doable...

Problem is, I'd burn/eat/throw the rest of the gun away unless they sold the gearbox seperately. Bit of a waste.

Yeah, it does look high quality, I hope those Chinese AK variants are similarly good, or that short version (really prefer the looks of that over the fullsize). That sniper version is interesting too. It would be nice to have a good quality Chinese manufacturer then hopefully more will appear biggrin.gif
