Well with the forums upgrades out the way (there's a lot of artwork work to do at the moment, but that is being sorted at the moment) we are now on the lookout for individuals who would be interested in writing material for the news pages here.

Writing is easy as we provide simple guides and a free software package that works in windows that easily allows you to post news from a desktop or laptop anywhere in the world.

So if you think you can help and would like to help the site out and contribute, please do post on here. The current mods and staff will decide who we will initially take on and we'll give all the help that we can.

All offers of help much appreciated. The more help we can get the easier it is for everyone to help keep the site updated and current.

Moving on! I've been into Airsoft for around 7-8 years, moving on from a casual skirmisher to technical help for various retailers, and then on to helping with graphics design for retailers across the globe. I've always tried to maintain an active role in the community, offering advice where need be etc, and passing on technical knowledge where appropriate.

I was in the process of creating a new "news" website for Airsoft, after noticing the diminishing amount of updates on the UK / Europe based news sites, however should the opportunity be presented here, I'd love to restore Arnie's to its former glory I remember several years ago, when there was no better site around

I'd be more than happy to have a more in-depth conversation if need be, as im not sure how much you want posted here! =)

+ This will give me the right to replace some of those 3 year old banners and buttons I made for Arnie back in the day, as they make me cry inside

I'm willing to help, Arn. I know we've had our disagreements in the past (mainly my fault, and one certain other individual) but i usually browse most retailers every other day or so, so would be happy to help out with various news, stock, or pre order updates.

Just to add on this, we are looking for members in the Honk Kong area who get the latest news before anyone else. Normally they post directly into the forums, we need those same people to post on the front page!

I should add that it's a dead easy system we've got set up there's no complex code writing to do. Type, insert links and add images (all WYSIWYG - you see it how it posts) then just click "post".

I'd love to help out concerning new guns and gear; I'm a bit of a fanatic about new stuff. I've been intot he sport for about 4 years now, own quite a few guns, and I'd love to start getting into the formal buissiness of reporting the going's on in the airsoft community.

I have direct ties to a few manufacturers in HK so I'll be able to write some content that is not only not featured on any online retailers' websites but info that in some cases isn't even common knowledge in HK. Anyway, happy to help out should help be needed. Otherwise, I can just keep emailing Arnie the stuff I have to share. lol

It looks like you've got all the help you need, but I'll volunteer. I've been airsofting for coming up on a decade, and I've been following any and all airsoft news for almost as long. I'm pretty up to date. I can write, and I'm a practicing mechanical engineer, so I've got technical knowledge, should a technical contribution be desired.

I've not actually skirmished yet (as my intro alluded to) but I teach the WWII close combat with and without firearms, to operators who use the real steel and have to deal with conflict day to day.I may be able to add a flavour from outside the Airsoft world which may help within it and I'm happy to.

Hello Arnie. First, I'd love to say, it's an honor even talking to you. You're the creator of the best airsoft forum, in my mind.


Anyway, I think I'd be suited for this job. I've been playing airsoft for a while, and have been browsing all types of forums for years. I'm always interested in airsoft news, and think I could help by giving my opinion. Even with my low post count, I am a great choice for this type of work. To be honest, I plan on either applying as an officer, or becoming a news reporter. With my high I.Q., and my ambition, I can do great things.
