The rifle could very possibly be capable of fully-automatic fire and/or intended for Mil/LE. That doesn't mean that it's intended to replace the M4/M16 (which it won't). There will, however, be a civilian version, I'm sure, because I doubt that Mil/LE sales will be very high.

Word. Kel-Tec had nothing to do with the Tec-9.
o rly?
The designer of the Tec-9 founded Kel-Tec (George Kelgren). The very name of the company pays homage to the Tec-9, being nothing but the first syllable of his last name spliced with the first syllable of the handgun that is so infamous.

Jagd, just stop trying to sound like you know anything about guns. From your AR-15 bashing for which you are infamous to your Kel-Tec bashing and Tec-9 mistake in this thread to your ramblings in the "Own Firearms?" thread, you don't seem like a very knowledgeable person when it comes to firearms. You're learning, but you're not quite there yet.
My expertise is military and LE firearms. Not civil firearms.
In any case, if no Marine I know chooses to trust the lives of their family to an AR-15 or variant thereof, then I daresay that that means, in and of itself, that the AR-15 is ######.
