I bought this holster second hand, yet unused for £10, so for what i paid i believe i got my moneys worth. However these normally retail for around the £20 mark - for that price i would have expected a little more quality.
As far as i know the Viper thigh holster is exactly the same as the webtex one in all but name. Neither companies have a great reputation when it comes to stitching, yet both are none as cheap alternatives to the more expensive kit. From my previous dealings with webtex and viper aswell as what i have heard from others i shall not be buying from either company again.
The viper holster iss great in the respect that its cheap, that being the main appeal of the viper/webtex line. Yet this soon becomes apparent after wearing it for a while.
It is adjustable to fit anything from the smallest glocks to the hand cannon that is the desert eagle, via a velcro strap. The pistol is held securely by a double thumbreak and there is a whole in the bottom of the holster allowing a pistol to be fired whilst still holstered.
There is a pouch on the outside of the holster for a spare magazine, again adjustable via a velcro strap.
The holster can either be worn as a belt or thigh holster via an unclippable leg strap. This attachs to any belt using velcro, but this was the first part to break when i used it. The two thigh straps are adjustable by means of a buckle, yet i found that this causes the holster to flap about whilst running as they undo themselves.
This holster is great for target shooting, or practical pistol perhaps, but as soon as the user needs to run, roll around in the dirt or do anything else demanding the holster fails. I really would advise giving this product a miss unless you really are on a tight budget.
Its a good design flawed by the stitching and generally the way it was made.

When i got this it was great. i used it many times to hold my pistol and its never gave me any problems. but i am left handed and cant really fork out 30 quid for a lefty one. its a great fit for any player just make sure your wearing a belt or it will just slide down your leg. over all 10.
